Algiers – Algeria’s agricultural output went up in the 2017/2018 crop, especially cereals, which hit a record high, according to information by the country’s Ministry of Agriculture, as reported by news outlet Algérie Presse Service (APS).
Cereals harvest exceeded 6 million tons. Potato harvest surpassed 4 million tons. APS reported that the harvests of garlic, tomatoes, animal fodder and the production of honey also had good performances.
