São Paulo – The 17th Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, one of the most popular music events inthe Middle East, is going to occur from February 20 to 22, featuring local and international jazz and blues artists in the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The main attractions this year include Alicia Keys (22), Jamiroquai (21) and Snow Patrol (20).
The ticket are for sale in the event website, with prices ranging from 350 dirhams (around USD 95) for a common ticket for one day to 3,000 dirhams (USD 816) for the three-day package in the VIP area. The Emirates dirham has now a value like the Brazilian real. The gates open at 6 pm and the main concerts should end by midnight. The age rating is 14+.
The band Snow Patrol is going to perform on the first day of festival, and became famous at the beginning of the century with the hit song “Chasing Cars“, with more than 15 million albums sold. The main attraction of the second night of the festival is the band Jamiroquai, leaded by Jay Kay, with more than 26 million albums sold across the world, entertaining crowds since the 1990s with hits such as “Space Cowboy” and “Virtual Insanity.”
Closing the music festival, the singer-songwriter Alicia Keys (picture above), a major success since 2001, is going to perform. Having created hits such as “No One,” “Girl on Fire” and “Fallin” has won 15 Grammys, one of the most important international music awards.
