Brasília – The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) will sign this Friday (15) in São Paulo, agreements with associations of four sectors and renew existing agreements with other three. The agreements call for a disbursement of BRL 44.8 million (USD 12.81 million) by the agency for the marketing actions of products and services abroad. Adding the counterpart funding by the associations, the amount totals BRL 69.9 million (USD 19.99 million).
The new agreements will be signed with the Brazilian Association of Engineering Consultants (ABCE), the Brazilian Dairy Industry Association (Viva Lácteos), the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (Abinee) and the National Association of Roadway Equipment Manufacturers (Anfir).
And the partnerships to be renewed are with the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal) and the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industry (Abimde). With the seven projects, the exports estimation is USD 14 billion in two years.
