São Paulo – The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) has opened registration for Brazilian companies interested in participating in the Agro Meet & Export 2022, an online trade promotion activity that will feature B2Bs with importers from Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Saudi Arabia, China, and Egypt. The initiative is focused on food and beverage.
According to the information made public by ApexBrasil, the activity will train the companies with seminars with experts, technical visits, and one-to-one mentoring, and it will end with an online B2B. For each one of the five target markets (it is a joint action with Argentina and Paraguay), there are places for 20 companies, and at least three business meetings are expected for each.
Registration for Argentina and Paraguay and Chile ends on Friday (19). For the virtual mission to Saudi Arabia, the registration deadline is September 16, for China it is September 23, and for Egypt it is September 30. For each stage, registration can be made online.
According to ApexBrasil, registration for Agro Meet & Export can be made regardless of the companies’ exporting experience. The program aims to increase the export value from Brazil to the selected markets, diversify exports and train companies to tap into new markets.
The program is supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. ApexBrasil says that next year’s Agro Meet & Export is expected to focus on three other markets, namely India, Mexico and Indonesia.
