São Paulo – Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) president Rubens Hannun will moderate next Wednesday (4) an online panel featuring the United Arab Emirates’ ambassador to Brasília, Saleh Alsuwaidi, during Logistique – Multimodal Logistics and Business Fair and Congress.
The panel themed “Potential and Opportunities in Bilateral Trade Between Brazil and the United Arab Emirates” will run from 3:45 pm to 5 pm. Panelists will also include Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (Fiesc) president Mario Cezar de Aguiar and economics journalist Cláudio Loetz.
The panel will be part of the fair’s Logistique Web Conference, which will see experts, businesspeople and authorities address key aspects of logistics, multimodal transportation and international trade. Both the conference and the fair will take place online, with the latter featuring companies and brands, from November 4 to 6.
The Embassy of the UAE in Brasília said Brazil is a key economic partner, since it is a major agricultural producing country. Brazil supplies the UAE with products including poultry and beef, sugar, gold, iron ore, semi-finished goods, footwear, and motors. The UAE supplies Brazil with fertilizer, sulplur, diesel, iron pipes, polycarbonate fiber, and polyester fiber.
