São Paulo – The Arab community will be honored next Monday, September 4, at 7:00 pm BRT, at the State of São Paulo Legislative Assembly in its capital city. The ceremony will be promoted by the State Parliamentary Council of Foreign Roots and Cultures Communities (CONSCRE), and the entity to be honored for the Arabs will be the Charitable Association “A Mão Branca” for Support of the Elderly, created by Arab descendants.

Representatives of 10 immigrant communities will be honored at the Juscelino Kubitschek Plenary (pictured above). The formal session will occur at the invitation of the president of the Legislative Assembly, André do Prado; the proponent state representative, Delegado Olim; and the president of CONSCRE, Gabriel Sayegh.
After the delivery of tribute plaques, there will be cultural and gastronomic presentations from different countries in the Monumental Hall of the Legislative Assembly. CONSCRE, which promotes the action, is a council of communities that works to encourage greater integration among immigrants in the state of São Paulo.
