São Paulo – A representative of United Arab Emirates-based company Al Mobidoon, which provides cleaning and insecticide spraying services, is going to be in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo on May 27th and 28th to participate in business roundtables of the Brazilian Association of Industries of Cleaning Products and Similar Items (Abipla). Besides Dubai, companies from Panama, Chile and Holland are also going to come.
The Brazilian companies that will attend the meeting are members of the Clean Tech Brasil project, the result of a partnership between Abipla and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex). According to information supplied by the Abipla, the roundtables aim to promote Brazilian exports in the sector, which totalled US$ 263.2 million last year, growth of 13.5% in comparison with 2006.
Still according to information from Abipla, the use of components and natural fragrances linked to the biodiversity typical of Brazil, high product quality, competitive pricing and ease of global commercialisation make Brazilian products attractive to international buyers.
Presently, 12 companies integrate the Clean Tech Brasil project, which was launched in August 2007. Actions promoted by means of the project include participation in fairs in Chile and in Dubai, last year, and in Panama, this year. Missions to Chile and Dubai also took place this year. Market surveys conducted by the Abipla show that the Arab and Andean countries present great potential for Brazilian products.
Company from Dubai
In addition to the Emirates, Al Mobidoon also operates in Syria and sells imported cleaning products and removers for glass, carpets, ovens and upholstered furniture. Established in 1991, the company also provides cleaning services and spraying against insects and rodents.
