São Paulo – The Arabic Language Center in São Paulo has enrolments open for two Arabic crash courses during January 2020, with classes of Classical Arabic for beginners and conversation. Each course will have three groups, from Monday to Thursday morning and nights, and on Saturdays. Teachers all are from Syria.
For those who have never studied Arabic, the recommendation is taking the beginners course, where they’ll learn Classic Arabic, with classes on the Arabic alphabet, reading and writing, basic conversation, and cultural classes about the Arab countries. The workload is 40 hours divided into twenty classes from Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 12 pm or 7 to 9 pm, to start on January 13. On Saturdays, the workload is 24 hours. This course will have eight classes from 3 to 6 pm starting on January 11.
For those who already have a basic understanding of the language, the conversation course teaches you how to have basic conversations in colloquial Arabic, spoken language, Syrian-Lebanese accents and expressions as well as cultural classes on the Arab countries. The workload is 40 hours divided into twenty classes from Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 12 pm or 7 to 9 pm, to start on January 13. On Saturdays, the course will have eight classes from 10 am to 1 pm starting on January 11.
The course price for the weekdays courses is BRL 600 upfront or 4 x BRL 175 until December 30. In January, values become BRL 700 upfront or 4 x BRL 200.
The Saturday courses, which have a smaller workload, cost BRL 450 upfront or 2 x BRL 250 until December 30. In January, value goes to BRL 500 upfront or 2 x BRL 275. Payment can be made in cash, debit or credit card. There’s no enrollment fee.
The school will offer a free first class to take place in January 13, 2020 from 7 to 9 pm at Instituto Base Gênesis, Praça da Sé, 28, 1st floor, at Central Zone of São Paulo. Further classes will be taught at Viaduto Dona Paulina, 34, cj. 45, also at the Central Zone of São Paulo. Enrollments can be made in this link.
