After seven months of shrinking export volumes, Brazilian foreign sales of chicken returned to growth last month. The Arab countries imported 155% more in terms of volume when compared to July this year. Brazilian sector exports as a whole totalled US$ 339.34 million and shipments reached 299,150 tonnes, an increase of 12.7% when compared to August last year.

The contract was signed between A. Guerra S.A., a maker of road equipment, and Excel, from the emirate of Sharjah. The Brazilian company is already transferring technology to its Arab partner, which will assemble and distribute the whole line of products throughout the region, including bodies and trailers for lorries.

The Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp) promotes today a seminar for the release of the Latin American version of the greatest organic product fair in the world, to take place next month. Brazil wants reach a market share of 10% of the global market, which currently consists of US$ 40 billion. The Arab countries are considered potential buyers of organic items like meats and fruit.

The Brazilian vehicle factory shipped the bus chassis this month to its distributor in the Arab country. The units will be assembled in Jordan and will receive bodies made by Elba, one of the greatest companies in the sector in the region. This is the third time Agrale sells chassis to the Arabs.
