Brasilia – The board of the Bank of Brazil approved today the opening of an office in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The information was given by the director of the trade department at the Brazilian foreign office, the Itamaraty, Mario Vilalva. "This is the first step for opening a bank agency," he stated.
According to Vilalva, this is also a way for the Bank of Brazil to get closer to the banking institutions in the region that manage the Arab finances. This means, according to him, a greater possibility of attracting future Arab investments to Brazil.
