São Paulo – By selling dentistry products that include lighteners, sealants, adhesives, trays, desensitizers, fluorine, floss and varnish, Paraná state-based company Biodinâmica has already conquered a market in 13 Arab countries, and wants to increase its sales to the region even further.
In 2006, the company began prospecting for Arab clients on the Internet, in addition to attending dental health industry trade show AEEDC, held in Dubai. Currently, Biodinâmica sells to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Oman, Egypt and Algeria.
The company exports 30% of its output to countries in Latin America, Europe and the Arab market. The latter account for 25% of the total shipped, and the leading buyers in the region are the United Arab Emirates, Syria and Lebanon.
In order to guarantee its sales, Biodinâmica has one distributor in each Arab country, aside from a company employee who is in charge of the region and travels constantly in order to provide training to distributors and follow up with the sales process, says Foreign Trade manager Eduardo Scarchetti.
According to him, the Arab market is very interesting for Biodinâmica and the company should continue investing in the region, including going to trade shows. “There is huge potential for us and our area.”
According to Scarchetti, the most recent contract was signed late last year with the United Arab Emirates, and concerns distribution in the country and other Middle Eastern ones.
Established in 1991, Biodinâmica is based in the city of Ibiporã, in the state of Paraná, and has approximately 80 employees.
