São Paulo – Bosch Rexroth Brasil, company of the Bosch group that produces technology for setting in motion, commanding and moving machines, invested 40 million euros in amplifying their factory in the city of Pomerode, in Santa Catarina, state in the Southern region of Brazil. The expansion was inaugurated yesterday (22) and will allow the company to increase four times their production volume of hydraulic components up to 2008.
Bosch Rexroth Brasil also has, as well as the unit in Pomerode, a factory in Atibaia, in the countryside of the state of São Paulo, Southeast region of Brazil. The unit in Santa Catarina was opened in 1989 to supply hydraulic parts and pieces for exports and also to sustain the increase in sales in the Brazilian market.
