The Sustainable Business COP (SB COP) was presented on Tuesday (25) during the Brazil & Arab Countries Economic Forum by Ricardo Mussa (pictured), chair of the initiative. SB COP is a global business platform created during COP30, held in Brazil, to organize and strengthen private-sector participation in international climate processes. Its goal is to give companies a voice in climate discussions. According to Mussa, more than 100 countries are already represented in SB COP, which is coordinated by Brazil’s National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
The forum, organized by the ABCC, is sponsored by Fambras Halal, International Halal Academy, Vale, DP World, Cdial Halal, First Abu Dhabi Bank, MBRF Global Foods Company, Qatar Airways and MZAH Group Investment. Institutional supporters include the Arab League, the Union of Arab Chambers and the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia. Cacilda Aragão Tours is a partner.
