Dubai – TV Cultura launched the show ‘200 Years: A Brazilian Epic Adventure’ [‘200 anos: uma história épica da nação’] during Expo 2020 Dubai. The event occurred this Friday (18) and was attended by executives and authorities, including José Roberto Maluf (pictured above), president of Fundação Padre Anchieta, which owns and manages TV Cultura.
The production will address Brazilian history in celebration of the bicentennial of the Independence of the country, celebrated on September 7.
“With this new show, TV Cultura becomes the only Brazilian broadcaster to make a top-of-the-line production about the bicentennial of the country’s Independence, which will be shown in several countries. In Angola, Portugal, Mozambique, and also China, Colombia, Mexico, Russia, and on public broadcasters in many other countries,” said Maluf.
During the launch, the organization showed videos with speeches by the Portuguese ambassador to Brasília, Luís Faro Ramos, and the vice president of Brazil, Hamilton Mourão. “It is a journey through time that takes us to know of our history,” said the vice president in the video.
