São Paulo – The 2nd Brazil-Egypt Economic Forum was postponed. The event, with the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, and the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Mohab Mamish, was scheduled for November 7, at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, in São Paulo. A new date will be announced soon.
The reason for the postponement was because a trade mission, organized by Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) and headed by Brazil’s FM, Aloysio Nunes, was scheduled for the same day of the forum. Authorities and business owners that were planning to attend the forum joined the delegation that will travel to Cairo (picture above).
The mission was originally scheduled for November 13 and 14, one week after the forum, but was brought forward to November 7 and 8 because of the minister’s official schedule.
