Brasília – Brazilian exports reached US$ 2.042 billion in the first three working days of the month, and imports totalled US$ 1.153 billion. With this, the trade balance result was US$ 889 million favourable to Brazil, the best daily average in all time, with an average of US$ 296.33 million.
This performance in the first week of November elevated the surplus (positive balance) for the year to US$ 37.239 billion, with growth of US$ 8.477 billion (29.47%) over the same period last year. Exports totalled US$ 98.665 billion and imports, US$ 61.426 billion, with an increase of 22.2% and 18.2%, respectively.
The figures were announced today (07) by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
