Brasília – Last week, Brazil exported the equivalent to US$ 2.476 billion, against imports of US$ 1.472 billion, resulting in a trade balance surplus of US$ 1.004 billion. In the month, the surplus reached US$ 2.726.
In the accumulated result for the year, the trade balance has reached US$ 35.397 billion, US$ 8.617 billion more than in the same period last year.
Total export in the year was US$ 94.141 billion, an increase of 25.6% in comparison to the sales of 2004, imports totalled US$ 58.744 billion, presenting 22% growth in the same comparison.
