Brasília – Brazil federal tax revenue reached BRL 110.855 (USD 30.87 billion) in June, a real (inflation-corrected) growth of 2.01% in comparison to the same month of last year. It’s the highest amount for the month since 2015, when it reached BRL 113.625 billion (USD 31.64 billion).
In the first six months, tax revenues amounted to BRL 714.255 billion (USD 198.92 billion), up 6.88% over the same period of 2017, reported this Tuesday the Federal Revenues Service.
According to the government revenues service body, “the result can be explained mainly by the recovery of activity” and by the increase of revenues due to tax adjustment programs.
