Brazil imported US$ 376 million from the Arabs in January
Purchases of products from the region grew 32.6% in the first month of the year when compared to January 2005. According to the president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Sarkis Jr., this shows the Brazil worries not only with selling, but also with strengthening trade with the region. Exports rose 22.3% in the month, over the 20% forecasted by the organisation for this year.
