São Paulo – Brazil national Olympic football team will play a friendly match against the United Arab Emirates on Thursday (15) as part of their preparations for the Tokyo Olympics. The match will take place at 4 pm (BRT), or 11 pm (GST), and streamed live in Brazil by Rede Globo de Televisão.
This will be the last friendly of the Olympic team before the start of the official matches of the men’s football competition on July 22, when the Brazilian team will face Germany. Eight football matches will take place on this first day.
The friendly against the UAE will be held in Serbia as a part of preparations for the qualifiers under coach André Jardine. The match against the Arabs will take place at Karađorđe Stadium in the city of Novi Sad, a 40-minute ride from the capital city of Belgrade. The Brazilian team will travel to Japan on the following day.
