São Paulo – The Palestinian ambassador to Brazil, Ibrahim Alzeben, received the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit from the Military Public Prosecutor’s Office this Tuesday (23). The diplomat, also dean of the Council of Arab Ambassadors to Brazil, received the honor as part of a group of 123 personalities recognized for their services on behalf of the Military Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPM) and Brazilian society. The Military Public Prosecutor’s Order of Merit is awarded in the Grand Cross, Grand Officer, High Distinction, Distinction, and Good Services levels. National and foreign organizations can also receive the Order’s Insignia. The Order of Merit delivered this Tuesday was for 2021, when the ceremony was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event occurred in the Auditorium of the Attorney General’s Office of Military Justice in Brasília.
In addition to Ambassador Ibrahim Alzeben, the Federal Attorney General, Bruno Bianco Leal; the Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Kassio Nunes Marques; the National Inspector of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Oswaldo D’Albuquerque Lima Neto; and the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, Lindôra Maria Araújo were also honored at the event. They were honored with the Insignia of the Order, the Attorney General’s Office standards, the Military Police of São Paulo, and the Civilian Police of the Federal District.
