São Paulo – Brazil and Qatar held a political consultation meeting on Wednesday (26) in Doha. According to Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions covered bilateral, regional, and global issues, as well as opportunities to strengthen ties in trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also released a statement on its website about the meeting, saying that in this sixth round of political consultations, the bilateral cooperative relations between Brazil and Qatar were discussed, along with ways to enhance and develop them.
Qatar’s participation was led by the Secretary-General of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, while the Brazilian side was headed by his counterpart, the Secretary-General of Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Laura da Rocha.
