São Paulo – Brazil posted a USD 1.7 billion trade surplus in the third week of June, the Ministry of Economy reported this Monday (24). Exports from Brazil fetched USD 4.4 billion, while imports came out to USD 2.7 billion.
Month-to-date through the third week of June saw a USD 4 billion surplus, with exports grossing USD 13.5 billion and imports reaching USD 9.5 billion. Year-to-date through week 3, June, exports came out to USD 106.3 billion and imports hit USD 80.2 billion, leading to a USD 26.1 billion surplus.
