São Paulo – The shirts to be worn by the Brazilian Team in the South Africa World Cup, in June, are made out of recycled PET bottles, according to information disclosed today (25) by Nike, the maker of the uniforms and sponsor of the team.
The new shirt was presented in London, England. Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, from Milan, served as the model. According to the company, the material used is lighter and ventilated.
Nike also informed that the same shirts worn by the players may be purchased on the retail market.
