Brasília – During his visit to Mozambique this week, president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will sign a protocol for the construction of a generic pharmaceutical laboratory that will manufacture AIDS drugs. The factory will be built in Maputo and will reinforce Brazilian healthcare assistance in Africa.
At the moment, it is common for Portuguese-speaking Africans from Angola and Mozambique to study medicine in Brazil, or do post-graduate studies there.
