Brasilia – The 1st Brazilian Biennial Design Exhibit will be inaugurated today (19), at 8 p.m., at the Oca, exhibit space in the Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. There will be a ceremony for guests. As of tomorrow (20), the exhibit will be opened to the public, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with free entrance.
There are about 600 product and communication design pieces exhibited, in an 8,000 squared metres space, approaching both historical and contemporary aspects of design. The Biennial Design Exhibit includes a special exhibit, for the first time in Brazil, in homage to Charlotte Perriand, one of the most important creators in design in the world of the 20th century, organised by the Georges Pompidou Centre, of Paris.
