São Paulo – Registration is open for Brazilian footwear brands interested in marketing their products to the international market through the digital B2B platform Joor. Brazilian Footwear, an export incentive program run by the Brazilian Footwear Industry Association (Abicalçados) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), welcomes applications from interested parties.
According to a release by Abicalçados, Joor is considered the largest order management and business-to-business platform globally and is partnering with Brazilian Footwear for the third time. Over USD 495,000 in business expectations for the following six months were generated for the participating Brazilian companies in the second iteration. The third edition will occur from February 15 to July 15, 2022.
According to the disclosed information, the platform allows online orders and has over 355,000 registered buyers from 150 countries, most of them from the United States. The North American country is the foremost destination for Brazilian footwear abroad. Company investment to participate for the six months starts at USD 800. Brands such as Pegada, Paula Torres, Voszi, and Anatomic Shoes have already confirmed their participation in the project.
