Rio de Janeiro – Oil production in Brazil decreased by 1% last year compared to 2017, according to data published this Monday (4) by the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). The accumulated production was 994.1 million barrels, with an daily average of 2.586 million barrels.
Gas production in 2018 was 40.8 billion cubic meters, with a daily average of 111 million cubic meters, an 1% growth over 2017.
In December of last year, oil and gas production in Brazil amounted to 3.406 million oil barrels equivalent per day – 2.691 oil barrels per day and 114 million natural gas cubic meters per day. The oil production grew 4.8% over November.
