São Paulo – The Arab group Al Ghalia, from Bahrain, plans on forming a partnership with the Brazilian plastic surgeon Ivo Pitanguy, one of the most highly esteemed in the world. The first contact was made two weeks ago.
According to the doctor, an executive in the company came across his work, during a visit to Brazil, and was very interested in opening a clinic in the region under his supervision. "The talks are still at the very beginning, we are analysing the proposal," said Pitanguy to ANBA.
"We will see in what they are interested and the viability of the undertaking," stated the doctor. The Al Ghalia group has branches in various segments such as spas, beauty clinics, restaurants and hotels. The group operates in many Arab countries, such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Today, during the opening of the Business Meeting, which takes place until Wednesday, parallel to the summit for South American and Arab countries, in Brazilian capital Brasilia, the minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade from Brazil, Luiz Fernando Furlan, spoke of the importance in partnerships of the sort. He mentioned the Arab initiative of hiring doctor Pitanguy to illustrate the increase in trade and services exchange in the two countries.
