São Paulo – Poultry exports stood at 281,800 tons in January, considering all products, including in natura and processed. The volume is 14.7% less than the total shipped in the same period of 2018. The information was released this Thursday (7) by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA, acronym in Portuguese).
Revenue from shipments reached USD 453 million, 12.9% less than the result in January last year. “There were discreet retractions in the export flow, which should be resumed in February,” explained ABPA president Francisco Turra in the release.
