São Paulo – Brazilian vehicle exports dropped 45% year-on-year from January to April, selling 139,500 units to the foreign market. This information is part of the balance released this Tuesday (7) by the National Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (ANFAVEA, acronym in Portuguese). In April, exports slid 52.3% year-on-year to 34,900 vehicles.
Vehicle production in April virtually repeated April last year results, manufacturing 267,500 units. Year-to-date, 965,400 vehicles were produced, a 0.1% decrease over the 965,900 manufactured from January to April last year.
