São Paulo – Brazilian vehicle exports grew 6.6% in January over the same month in 2021, according to data released this Monday (7) by the Brazilian National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA). 27,600 automobiles were exported last month, against 25,900 in January 2021. However, there was a decrease in the exported volume compared to the previous month, December 2021, 33.5%.
As for the production of vehicles, there was a drop in both comparisons. In relation to December, the decline was 31.1%. In the first month of this year, 145,400 units were manufactured, and 200,400 in December. Compared to January 2021, the decline was 27.4%
