São Paulo – The waiver of visa requirements for Brazilians traveling to the United Arab Emirates will become effective as of June 3. Visitors will be allowed to enter, leave or go anywhere in the UAE for 90 days every 12 months. The information was disclosed by the UAE Embassy in Brasília.
The agreement also applies to UAE citizens travelling to Brazil.
The Brazil-UAE visa waiver agreement was signed in March 2017, during a visit of the UAE minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdullah Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It had been approved by Brazilian Congress in November, and now it has been ratified by the UAE.
The visa waiver applies to regular passport holders.
