Brazilians travel to Mecca in religious pilgrimage
Between two and three million Muslims will be in Saudi Arabia in January for the pilgrimage of the holy places of Islam, like the Kaaba, place of adoration built by the prophet Abraham, and Mount Arafat, where he also went in the past. Brazilians of the Islamic religion, such as the tradesman Nagib Smaidi and his wife Soraia, leave this weekend to participate in the religious ritual.
