São Paulo – The assistant project director at Emaar Properties, Greg Sang, who is responsible for the construction of Burj Dubai, to be the largest building in the world, visited this morning (16) the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce offices. He was met by the secretary general at the organization, Michel Alaby, who scheduled for Monday, a visit by the engineer to the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci).
Both organizations are going to promote a trade delegation to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. According to Alaby, the idea is to make Brazilian businessmen visit some Emaar constructions. Emaar is the main real estate developer in the Emirates. He also asked Sang, if possible, to take businessmen to visit the Burj Dubai construction site.
Sang was invited by the Brazilian Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers (Anfacer) and the Chamber to participate in the 5th International Architecture and Construction Forum at the Revestir, in São Paulo. The engineer gave a talk yesterday about the construction of Burj Dubai, which will have over 160 storeys, to an audience of around 100 people.
Still on Friday afternoon, Sang was scheduled to visit some buildings in São Paulo, like the Modern Art Museum (MAM), the Biennial exhibition hall and the São Paulo Art Museum (Masp).
