São Paulo – About 21 European importers and 90 Brazilian shrimp producers gathered for business meetings during the weekend in the Natal, city in the northeastern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte, which generated a turnover of US$ 625,900. There were 250 meetings at the Sector Meeting Al-Invest Tech Shrimp. The deals should help increase shrimp exports from the Northeast region to Europe in 10%. The Tech-Shrimp meeting started last Tuesday and finished on Saturday (26), when the foreign businessmen visited the shrimp farms and factories in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
