Business tourism grows in Brazil
According to a study developed by the Ministry of Tourism, 29.1% of foreign visitors who were in the country in 2005 came on business, against 28.7% in 2004. The daily expenses of these visitors rose from US$ 98 to US$ 112 and Brazil rose in the ranking of most sought places for the organization of international events.
