São Paulo – Business tourism in Brazil saw 7.8% growth year-on-year in Q3 with sales amounting to BRL 2.7 billion (USD 721 million), the Brazilian Corporate Travel Agencies Association (Abracorp) reported. The industry comprises airlines, hotels and events companies.
Q3 saw 180,300 international corporate tickets with Brazil as a destination sold, with sales amounting to BRL 695.3 million (USD 185.8 million). Abracorp reports that 6,102 of those tickets were sold by Arab airlines.
