The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, are taking representatives of ten companies and organizations in the construction industry to seek new business opportunities in Kuwait, the Emirates, and Qatar. The executives will engage in business meetings, visit large construction companies, and participate in trade fair the Big 5 Show.

BioFach LA, the Latin America version of the largest organic product fair in the world, is scheduled to start tomorrow in the city of São Paulo. In the sidelines of fair, ExpoSustentat, an event turned to the sustainable goods and services sector, will also take place. Importers from 12 countries, 5,000 visitors and another 300 exhibitors are expected.

Seleme, a maker of wooden panels and frames for civil construction, exports 100% of production and wants to diversify markets. According to the president of the southern Brazilian state’s Chamber of Construction Industries, José Antonio Vieira, who is going to participate in the trade mission to the Gulf, to begin on October 26, the state is a good option for investment in tourism.

Businessman Guido José Burigo, from Milano Estruturas Metálicas, wants partnerships in the area of electric energy transmission. He is going to participate in a trade delegation promoted by the state of Santa Catarina to begin on September 26, as is entrepreneur Ingelore Werner Eipper, who exports ornamental plants.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina are taking companies in the construction sector to seek new business opportunities in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Stone Control, which sells marbles and granites, for example, wants long-term partnerships.

The Brazilian unit of the German multinational, a maker of dentistry equipment, should end the year with growth of 25% in exports to the Arab countries. Currently, the company is equipping a university in Egypt and negotiating with another in Sudan.

Fibrafort, based in the state of Santa Catarina, already sells boats to Egypt and Kuwait and wants to increase its business with the region. At the beginning of next year, the company export manager, Marcelo Puscar, should travel to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

Brazilian shoe factories participated in Micam fair, in Milan. After the contacts made, Sapatoterapia, from São Paulo, for example, is going to ship 10,000 pairs of shoes to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Kuwait. Siboney, from Rio Grande do Sul, in turn, entered the Egyptian market.
