São Paulo – The 26 Brazilian companies that participated at the GDS shoes fair, in Germany, signed immediate business deals worth US$ 15.3 million, which represented an increase of 44.34% in relation to the edition in September 2005, according to information from the Brazilian Association of Shoe Manufacturers (Abicalçados). The fair was held between the 15th and 17th of September in the city of Düsseldorf.
The entity forecasts that in the next 12 months the business volume will reach US$ 37 million, which will represent an increase in 15% in relation to the September 2005 edition. The Brazilian companies that participated in the fair are part of the Brazilian Footwear program, by Abicalçados.
