The Brazilian company that produces organic coffee plans to win the foreign market and is betting on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The first load to be shipped to the region, with its date undefined up to now, should total 100 kilograms. The company produces around 1,500 kilograms of coffee a month.

The Brazilian company Ferrucci shipped 10,000 pairs of shoes last year to the chain of stores Shoe Mart, which has about 100 points of sales in the Gulf countries. As well as strengthening their partnership with the chain in 2005, the shoe manufacturer from the city of Jaú also plans on exploring the Omani market, to which they sent a test order in 2004. Ferrucci is looking for a trade representative in the region.
Stand organised by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) and the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex) will have 11 Brazilian companies in various sectors. The trade show starts next Tuesday (15), it is one of the most important in North Africa and attracts importers from various countries.

IT has developed ARABtoBRASIL, a kind of personalized travel package that takes into consideration the characteristics of each one of the Arab countries. The programs are for Brazilians who visit the countries in the Middle East and North Africa on business, and for Arabs visiting Brazil. IT, which is based in the city of Barueri, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, is an official operator for Reed Exhibitions and Messe Frankfurt, two of the largest event organizers in the world.
Abimo, an organization that represents the sector, took 40 Brazilian companies to Arab Health, a fair that took place in Dubai last week. Participation should generate deals of US$ 11.2 million in the next 12 months. In May, a delegation of companies is travelling on a trade mission to Saudi Arabia, where they will participate in business meetings with Arab importers and in the Saudi Health Care fair.
The group participated in meetings with around 100 Arab businessmen last week. The trade mission was part of the schedule of the tour taken by the Brazilian minister of Foreign Relations, Celso Amorim, to ten countries in the region. Amorim ended the tour on Saturday, after meeting Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who confirmed his participation in the Arab-South American Summit, scheduled for May.
The activities of the delegation that travelled to the Middle East to promote trade relations between Brazil and the region began today. Incomaq, from the city of Caxias do Sul, in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, produces 30,000 items a month and already sells to the United State and Russia. The line of products includes condiment and paper towel holders, baskets for planned kitchens and shoe holders for inbuilt cupboards.
