Representatives of the Mercosur and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) met in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, during the weekend. They decided that negotiations for the free trade agreement will be speeded up. The next meeting will take place in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital.
