Nonprofit Voice of the Oceans is preparing actions to raise awareness about plastic waste in the oceans during the U.N. climate summit to be held in Brazil’s Pará state.

With integrated economic, tourism, and environmental goals, the Arab country is developing its 30 nature reserves. The initiative includes environmental protection and the creation of leisure facilities such as stargazing parks, sustainable campsites, and safari tours.

Bahrain’s Space Agency has completed another phase in the development of a satellite payload designed to track carbon dioxide emissions. The goal is to apply the technology within the country and across the Gulf region.

The Managing Committee of the National Fund on Climate Change has approved the 2025 resource allocation plan. Part of the amount will be used for actions by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, and part will be made available as BNDES credit for sustainable projects.

Representing the global movement against plastic pollution led by the Schurmann family, the sailor has meetings scheduled with officials from Dubai and Abu Dhabi until next Monday (17) in a program supported by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber.
