São Paulo – Brazil shipped 37,400 60-kg bags of coffee year-to-date through November, up 18.4% from a year ago. Exports yielded USD 4.7 billion, up 2% year-on-year, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) reported last Monday (10).
For the Arab countries, 1.66 million bags were exported, up 12% from a year ago. But revenue slid by 5.5% year-on-year, to USD 191.2 million.
November saw 3.1 million bags shipped, down 20% from a year ago. Exports yielded USD 388 million, down 25% year-on-year.
