São Paulo – Brazilian and Arab companies that are participating in the exhibition area of the Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries have a series of technologic features at their disposal to attract new contacts. For many companies, this is their first experience exhibiting at an online platform, which will be available until October 22. Pictured above, the Networking Coffee area, where you can access a Zoom meeting to strike new connections and ask questions.
By accessing the platform and enter the Exhibition and Sponsor Area, you can browse through the space and view the room and each exhibitor. If you have 3D glasses, you can have an even more real-life-like experience. On the side of the screen, there are icons such as the show map, where each stand can be accessed. Another icon allows for sharing your screen for visiting the area with one of your connections through the Zoom app.
Each e-booth has its own features, such as videos telling the history of the company and a virtual schedule showing times and dates available for a meeting. Some companies use WhatsApp, and you can have live video meetings, too. The companies also show their employees’ business cards, as well as information materials and social media.
One exhibitor that is participating in a virtual format for the first time is Egyptian Exporters Association (Expolink), a non-governmental organization that supports Egyptian exporters. “This is our first experience in an online platform as exporters. We are very pleased to be part of this great event. We loved everything from the amazing layout to the high-level lecturers and the large number of participating companies,” Expolink communication and marketing director Bassant Amr said.
Until Tuesday (20), the second day of the event, the company had made three new connections with companies from the United Arab Emirates and Brazil. “We are very pleased and believe we’ll repeat this experience,” Amr added.
SIILHalal Certificadora Halal Brazil is another company that is exhibiting at a virtual space such as the forum. “Halal certification is a passport for the Arab and Islamic market. Knowing that, many cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, candy, juice and meatpacking companies have sought out SILLHall, and our online team is entirely at their disposal at the virtual exhibition area of the economic forum to help answering questions about the process necessary to get a halal certificate,” SIILHalal CEO Chaiboun Darwiche said.
In addition to the ones mentioned above, exhibitors at the forum include BRF, Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), Tradeling, Fambras Halal, Neom, JBS, Qualitá Group, Banco BS2, Port of Itaqui, Cdial Halal, Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Unimar, Soma Mater, Prima Foods, Private Cosméticos, and Rede Bandeirantes. A&G Solution sponsors the coffee space.
The visitor has also access to the e-booth of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), where its commercial team is available to answer their questions. In addition to the exhibition area, the forum features an auditorium, where you can watch lectures and debates that are relevant for Brazil-Arab trade. The ABCC hosts the forum in partnership with the Arab League and the Union of Arab Chambers.
