São Paulo – E-commerce giant Amazon announced on Tuesday (7) that all sellers on the platform now can export their products through Amazon’s platform. The service was already available for guest sellers.
The company has also reported the expansion of two other programs in logistics and delivery. “The International Sales program is the opportunity for partner sellers in Brazil to go international through Amazon.com and reach millions of clients,” the company said.
The program was launched last October. To participate, however, there are some criteria: the main one is that the products sold need to be in conformity with US requirements and certifications. This is because the goods exported by Brazilian sellers will leave Brazil for the United States and, from Amazon’s logistics center in the country, will be shipped to the final destination. According to Amazon, the company will offer support with tools to sell and promote products, infrastructure support for storage and delivery of products in other countries.
In the press statement, Amazon presented the case of Brazilian companies that have used the export service, including cosmetics firm Natura and specialty coffee seller Coffee ++. Coffee++ said that it went international with the support of Amazon. Partner sellers can join the International Sales program on this link.
