São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce reported the cancellation of the cosmetics industry mission to the United Arab Emirates and Egypt scheduled to run from June 1 to 6, which was organized by the entity and supported by the Brazilian Toiletry, Perfume and Cosmetics Industry Association (Abihpec).
“The decision is the most responsible course of action to take given the global concerns about coronavirus, as we could not evaluate how the situation will be in Brazil and the Arab countries until the given date,” the Arab Chamber reported in a press release, stressing that the measure was taken after careful analysis and consideration.
Beautyworld Middle East, which was scheduled to run from late May to early June, was postponed to August 17 to 19, as reported by the organizers in its website.
