São Paulo – The US dollar plummeted 1.84% this Tuesday (10) to end the day selling for BRL 3.7975. The United States currency remained bearish following the holiday on Monday (9) in São Paulo, in line with the downtrend that began with a 1.5% drop last Friday (6).
Ibovespa, the main index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), began the week down 0.22% to 74,847 points, driven by a drop in shares of major companies including Petrobras (-1.39%), Bradesco (-1.49%), Vale (-1.63%) and Itaú (-0.31%).
