São Paulo – The US dollar climbed 1.6% this Friday (10) to BRL 3.864, its highest price since it reaching BRL 3.8753 on July 16. The United States currency ended the week up 4.23%, after having lost 4.39% during the five preceding weeks.
Ibovespa, the main index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), ended the week with a sharp 2.86% drop to 76,514 points, its lowest score since late May. Bovespa closed down every day of the week, with a weeklong drop of 6% after going up for five straight weeks.
