São Paulo – The dollar ended this Thursday (13) near the BRL 4.20 mark, the highest nominal value since the development of Plano Real, in 1994. The North American currency rose 1.21% to BRL 4.196, surpassing the BRL 4.166 mark registered in January of 2016. In the month, the dollar has an appreciation of 3.03% against the real.
Ibovespa, the main index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) went down 0.58% in the day to 74,686 points. Petrobras’ shares dropped 1.27%, with shares of Itaú (-.55%) and Bradesco (-0.40%) also falling.
